We know that most of us are shocked, discouraged, hurt, and upset by the results of Proposition 8 in California. We would like to use this space to voice our concerns, explain the impact of this blow to equality, and basically come together to continue to move forward. Please share in the comments section.
Don’t forget to Call in Gay on December 10, 2008 as a part of Day Without A Gay, whether you are gay or heterosexual and support equality for all, please participate. http://daywithoutagay.org/
If you have community information, events, rallies, etc., to share, please feel free to do so.

I, for one, am shocked and disgusted that this was even on the ballot. Discrimination in all forms is wrong. Anyone who voted Yes on this proposition should be very ashamed of themselves. If you don’t have the sense to be ashamed at what you’ve done, don’t worry. Your grandchildren will feel that shame for you.
For the record, I am heterosexual. I have the right to marry if I like. And I OPPOSE this discrimination. Equal rights for ALL. If you don’t believe separation of church and state is important, please ask the women in Iran what they think about that. It does matter.
